Job Description
Role: Warehouse Stock Controller
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: Full time 40 hrs pw day shift
Salary: £25,397
We’re looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join our busy warehouse team in Huntingdon. This is a key role in keeping our stock accurate, organised, and flowing smoothly through our supply chain.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving and processing stock, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring all goods are stored and labelled correctly.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and record incoming stock deliveries
Check deliveries against purchase orders and report any discrepancies
Conduct visual and physical quality checks on goods
Allocate and organise stock within the warehouse using FIFO procedures
Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock counts
Label all items clearly with product and QR codes
Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track and update inventory
Ensure the warehouse is safe, tidy, and well-organised at all times
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks safely
Support picking and packing operations when needed
About You
You’ll have a great eye for detail, take pride in your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a physical, hands-on role across three warehouses, so good fitness and resilience are important.
Essential skills required
Strong administrative and computer skills (Excel, Word, WMS)
Excellent communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Current Counterbalance Forklift Certificate (external only)
Reliable, conscientious, and a great team player
UK driving licence required due to location
