Stock Controller – Energy-from-Waste Facility
Beddington
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
£37,228 + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits
My client is a leading organisation in the UK’s resource recovery and energy-from-waste sector, playing a key role in supporting the UK's climate goals by transforming waste into sustainable energy. They operate advanced facilities designed to divert waste from landfill and generate low-carbon power, contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to join the team at their Beddington Energy Recovery Facility.
Stock Controller Role
As a Stock Controller, you will take full ownership of your designated warehouse area and ensure the effective management of stock and spare parts. You will work closely with Engineering and Operational teams to support plant reliability, ensuring critical spares are available and inventory processes are robust and efficient.
Stock Controller Key Responsibilities

Manage all stock control activities for a defined warehouse area
*
Maintain stock accuracy and compliance with operating procedures
*
Support the availability of high-value and plant-critical spares
*
Implement and improve stock control processes, including goods-in and goods-out
*
Identify and minimise stock losses through proactive management
*
Work collaboratively with Engineering and Operations teams
*
Maintain safe systems of work and adhere to all H&S requirements
About You
We are looking for someone with strong stock control experience and a proactive approach to operational improvement.
Stock Controller - Skills & Experience -
*
Proven experience in a warehouse/stores environment with stock control responsibility
*
Experience using computerised stock control systems
*
Knowledge of purchasing practices and stock management processes
*
Strong understanding of H&S procedures and safe systems of work
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
*
Full UK driving licence
