Job Description

An established business is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join its warehouse team. Working alongside another team member, you will be responsible for managing inventory on the dry side of the warehouse, ensuring stock is accurate, well-organised, and efficiently controlled.

This position requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock counts

  * Investigate discrepancies and drive improvements in stock accuracy

  * Manage stock movements using Sage 200 and barcode scanning systems

  * Receive, check, and book in inbound goods efficiently

  * Ensure warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and clear stock locations

  * Support warehouse layout and stock flow improvements

  * Assist with operating a small production filling line and maintaining stock levels

Skills & Experience:

  * Proven experience in stock or inventory control

  * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ideally Sage 200

  * Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer-based systems

  * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
