Job description:
Stock Controllers play a key role in maintaining efficient supply chain operations by tracking stock movements, conducting regular inventory checks, and working closely with purchasing. The role ensures that stock quantities are accurate, products are stored correctly, and inventory is available to meet operational and customer demands.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining, monitoring, and recording accurate stock levels, including tracking stock movement and managing stock rotation to prevent waste.
* Organizing storage areas, ensuring proper, safe, and secure storage conditions for goods.
* Inspecting incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
* Accurately picking and labelling pallets for dispatch.
* Utilise forklift trucks and materials handling equipment for stock movement and storage optimisation.
* Booking in deliveries on the expected delivery sheet and completing necessary documents.
* Picking orders and preparing for production.
