Stock Controller

Chesterfield Area

£13 per hour + Overtime

Temp to Perm Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Stock Controller to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering business in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with stock control, warehouse, goods in/out or forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role within a busy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing stock levels and maintaining inventory accuracy

Booking goods in and processing dispatch requirements

Loading, unloading and moving stock safely around site

Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT equipment

Carrying out stock checks and investigating discrepancies

Maintaining accurate stock records and system updates

Handling a variety of industrial products and heavy materials

Supporting warehouse, production and operational teams as required

The Ideal Candidate

Previous stock control, warehouse or inventory experience

Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Licence preferred

Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments

Comfortable handling heavier materials and products

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and communication skills

Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach
