Job Description

A fast-paced food manufacturing business is looking for a Stock Controller to support warehouse and packaging operations across site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working across production, warehouse, and dispatch environments.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring packaging and consumables are accurately managed and available to support production operations. Duties will include:

  * Loading and unloading deliveries

  * Monitoring packaging stock levels and supporting ordering processes

  * Supplying packaging materials to production lines

  * Managing stock movements and system updates

  * Completing weekly and monthly stock takes

  * Creating and receipting purchase orders using ERP systems

  * Supporting dispatch and warehouse operations when required

  * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

  * Assisting with waste management and site housekeeping activities

About You

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience within warehouse, stock control, or manufacturing environments.

You should have:

  * FLT / PPT licences (Essential)

  * Stock and inventory management experience (Essential)

  * Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Desireable)

  * Strong organisational and planning skills

  * Good communication skills

  * Good numeracy and attention to detail

  * The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  * A proactive attitude and willingness to support wider operations
