Job Description
Stock Controller
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm or 7:30am to 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Location: Watford, WD25
Salary: £26,984.10
An exciting opportunity is available for a Stock Controller to join the team in Watford. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring efficient stock management.

Required Skills:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Proficiency in basic mathematics and administrative tasks
Responsibilities:
*
Oversee stock control processes, including receipt, storage, distribution, sales, and returns, ensuring stock records align with physical inventory.
*
Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while avoiding overstocking or loss, monitoring and adjusting as required.
*
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, ensuring at least 90% accuracy and compliance with company policies.
*
Run stock enquiries, reconcile counts with system records, compile damage reports, and process returns to minimise impact.

Respond promptly to stock problems, discrepancies, and product or inventory inquiries, and support stock control functions including end-of-year inventoryBefore You Apply
