Stock Controller | £32,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Looking to bring your inventory expertise to a role where no two days are the same?
We're working with a leading name in manufacturing and construction who are searching for a capable and proactive Stock Controller to join their high-performing supply chain team. This position starts as a temp at £16 per hour, with a fast-track route to a permanent contract and full benefits package.
The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on role at the heart of the business. You'll be responsible for monitoring stock levels, managing supplier relationships, ensuring materials are ready for production, and helping streamline operations. Working closely with procurement, production, logistics, and finance, you’ll be a key player in keeping everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitoring stock levels and reconciling physical inventory
Coordinating timely material deliveries with suppliers
Supporting the buyer with procurement tasks
Running and reporting on regular stock counts
Identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Using inventory systems like Sage X3 to manage and track stock movement
Acting as the go-to for inventory updates across the business
What You’ll Need:
Solid experience in stock control, inventory, or supply chain
Great attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Strong communication and organisational skills
Comfortable using inventory systems and analysing stock data
