Stock Controller
Location: Belfast
Full time – permanent position
Salary – £30-35 per annum DOE
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a proactive Stock Controller to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient stock flow, and seamless support for production and warehouse teams.
🔑 What you’ll be doing:
* Daily Operations: Oversee stock levels across sites, resolve issues quickly, and support warehouse/factory staff.
* Cycle Counts: Conduct daily cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and implement preventative measures.
* Shelf-Life Management: Monitor short shelf-life products, provide reports, and help minimise waste.
* Out-of-Date (OOD) Products: Coordinate monthly reviews, manage rework/disposal, and keep records up to date.
* Packaging Supplies: Ensure essential packaging materials are always available through weekly checks and system updates.
* Stock Anomalies & Records: Investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate data in M3, and support audits.
* Production Support: Guarantee the right materials are available in the right place at the right time.
* Stock Counts: Organise semesterly and yearly counts across internal and 3rd party warehouses.
* Training & Procedures: Create and update SOPs, support staff training, and help drive best practice.
✅ What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in logistics, inventory, or stock control.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
* Excellent attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
* Familiarity with stock systems (e.g., M3 or similar) is desirable.
