Job Description
Job Title: Stock & Quality Controller
Hours: Working between 8am - 5pm
35 hours a week Monday – Friday.
Reporting To: Group Business Support Manager
Purpose of Job: To control clients’ inventory, ensuring that quality standards are maintained to the highest standards.
Main responsibilities and duties:
* Conducting stock taking, counting, and cycle counting
* Performing spot quality checks on customer orders
* Quality checking the stock
* Carrying out quality checks throughout the warehouse
* Organising stock
* Updating stock records
* Investigating stock issues
* Maintaining accurate records
* Managing control measures to ensure identification, documentation, addressing, and resolution of errors, inaccuracies, and discrepancies
* Overall stock management using a warehouse management system
* Executing any additional warehouse-related tasks as requested
Skills:
* Capacity to work under pressure while using personal initiative
* Strong attention to detail
* Fundamental understanding of warehouse operations

* Proficient in navigating a large warehouse to locate customer items

* A good standard of education
Experience:
* Previous Warehouse Stock/Inventory Control experience (2 years - required)
