Job Description
The role of the Stockroom Operative is pick and dispatch online customer orders. process and dispatch customer FOC requests and to pick and dispatch the departments wholesale workloads and requirements.
The Stockroom Operative will be required to locate all stock into the departments stock file system.
The Stockroom Operative will be required to help with all other tasks within the department at the discretion of the shift management team
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Management and prioritisation of all department online orders through departments order bank priorities timetable
* Confirm priorities and subsequent timeframes for each order with the team leader to ensure department and business targets are met
* Dispatch all customer live orders and FOC requests
* To pick online orders
* Attend to all put away duties pertaining to the role
* Help with other departmental tasks at the discretion of the management
* Must hit KPI's and maintain a high-quality standard.
* Must maintain high quality standards when handling inbound product to ensure as an individual and department we are striving to achieve our RFT standards and expectations outlined in the departments RFT concept
* Must be responsible and take ownership for all handled devices
* Responsibility data entry across departmental workbooks and Apps
* General housekeeping to ensure that high H&S standards are maintained.
Knowledge & Experience:
Must have:
* Ability to hit given target.
* Attention on details.
* Team player
* Basic Microsoft Office skills
* Willingness to develop themselves.
* A good level of spoken and written English
* High level of accuracy with great attention to detail
* Experienced and comfortable with a fast-paced target driven environment
* Hard-working and punctual
* Positive attitude
* IT literate and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
* Self-motivated with the drive to act on own initiative as well as work effectively as part of a team
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
* Maintain outstanding stock and workspace condition in compliance with H&S policies and procedures
Preferred:
* Familiarity with consumer electronics but passion and skills are more important in this job
The working hours will be 7am-7pm 4 on 4 off
The pay rate is £12.31 per hour
