 Salary: £35,000 per annum

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Store Person to join our team on a major Water and Utilities project based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing organisation supporting critical infrastructure works across the water sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing materials, equipment, and stock levels to ensure the smooth running of site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, checking, and recording deliveries of materials and equipment.
Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
Issuing materials, tools, and PPE to site personnel.
Organising and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient stores environment.
Conducting regular stock counts and audits.
Coordinating with procurement and site teams to ensure materials are available when required.
Managing goods-in and goods-out processes.
Ensuring all materials are stored correctly and safely.
Assisting with plant and equipment tracking and inspections.
Adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Store Person, Storekeeper, Materials Controller, or similar role.
Experience within the Water, Utilities, Civils, Construction, or Infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competent with Microsoft Office and stock management systems.
Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
