As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Storeman to join our team at Bredbury. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of materials and supplies.
Organising and maintaining inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
Issuing materials to departments or production as per requisitions.
Tracking inventory levels and reporting shortages, excess, or obsolete stock.
Maintaining accurate stock records and performing regular stock reconciliations.
Ensuring that all materials are stored safely and in accordance with company standards.
Preparing reports such as stock status, inventory turnover, and material movement.
Enforcement of store policies and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.Qualifications and Experience Required:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred (mobile telecoms or electrical industry knowledge preferred)
Qualification in warehousing & storage or similar
LOLER & PPE Inspections qualification
Forklift license (B1 preferred)
PUWER experience (preferred)
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
