What You'll Do:
As a Storesperson/Workshop Support, you will play a crucial role in managing the stores and providing essential support to the workshop. Your responsibilities will include:
Stores Management:
Control all incoming and outgoing deliveries with precision.
Utilise our stock control system effectively.
Arrange and pick materials for workshop and service engineers.
Deliver items to customer sites using a company van.
Collaborate with our procurement manager to ensure optimal stock levels.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.Workshop Support:
Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
Mark, drill, and cut various materials accurately, including deburring metal.
Keep stock checks up to date for non-stores items.
Utilise basic hand skills with battery-operated power tools and hand tools.
Embrace opportunities to learn new skills and operate diverse equipment.Who You Are:
We're looking for someone with a proactive attitude and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential experience in warehouse or stock control work.
A Counterbalance FLT Licence - our client will support with a re-test if necessary for the right person
A clean driving licence.
Excellent communication skills paired with a strong work ethic.
A sense of pride in your work, with a focus on organisation and tidiness.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools to a good standard.
Familiarity with software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
