Job Description:
Stores Administrator
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Stores Administrator to join our clients Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a great listener, quick-thinking, and able to manage multiple tasks accurately in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Take clear and accurate messages, ensuring all relevant details are captured.
Email messages promptly to the appropriate members of the team.
Process incoming purchase orders onto our internal system with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain and update records and documentation.
Provide administrative support to the stores and purchasing teams as required.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
A "switched-on" approach with the ability to use initiative.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Confidence using computer systems, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Previous administration or stores experience is desirable but not essential.
