Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) - flexible options available

Polytec are looking for a Stores Assistant to support our client based just north of Cambridge. You'll assist with the smooth flow of incoming goods and the outflow of an award winning finished product.
There is option for some flexibility in total hours per week, alongside start and finish times.
Responsibilities:
*Maintain cleanliness and organisation of stores and goods-in areas
*Handle deliveries: receive, inspect, book in goods and manage rejections
*Load/unload vehicles and manually handle stock within HandS guidelines
*Pick, label and prepare stock for production, subcontractors and dispatch
*Perform scheduled stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy in MRP system
*Operate material handling equipment (e.g. pallet stackers)
*Support offsite storage, collections/deliveries and sales/marketing stock
*Assist with factory visits and occasional sales/marketing activities
Requirements:
*Previous experience in Goods-In and Stores operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment
*Full valid UK driving licence is essential
*Proficient in IT with strong administrative skills%3B experience with Microsoft Office and MRP systems is highly desirable
*Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to interpret engineering drawings is advantageous
*Highly organised, methodical and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
