Stores Controller
🕒 Full-Time | Permanent | Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 | Fri 08:00–13:00
📦 Warehouse | Stock Control | Transport Coordination
Are you an experienced stores person looking to take the lead in a fast-paced and hands-on manufacturing environment? We’re hiring a Stores Controller to oversee the day-to-day running of stores operations for a respected and growing manufacturer.

What You’ll Be Doing:
*
Handling deliveries and liaising with logistics companies
*
Managing incoming and outgoing goods
*
Ensuring accurate stock control and records (electronic and hard copy)
*
Packing and preparing goods for despatch
*
Operating forklift trucks safely (training can be provided)
*
Supporting the inspection of incoming goods with our Quality team
*
Keeping the stores and site areas clean, tidy, and safe
*
Assisting with kit marshalling and supervising/training other team members when needed
We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience in a stores/warehouse or similar environment
*
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
*
A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
*
Forklift licence is a plus (or willingness to train)
*
Comfortable with manual handling and working to HSE guidelines
*
Flexible and happy to support wherever needed
