Stores & Maintenance Controller
Salary: £29,510 + Pension + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: Walsall

The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction based products. The company is extremely well established with over 150 years of manufacturing experience and has a global reputation which is second to none in their marketplace. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced engineer.
The Role
* Provide an effective stores service to the engineering department to ensure stores stocks are readily available to deliver high levels of plant reliability.
* Purchase order analysis / manage revenue within the confines of budget limits.
* Inputting stock onto the agility platform
* Unloading / loading goods and allocate to the correct locations via use of FLT.
* Collaborate with the maintenance leadership team to achieve Health and Safety objectives; analyse findings of past audits to drive and influence areas for improvement.
* Manage the Eco-Online platform ensuring all COSHH related products on site are recorded on the system
* Utilise the Reactec platform; capturing Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) information for accurate measurements and creating ID tags for each tool
* Analyse Insurance lifting reports for defects and aid Insurance inspectors during lifting equipment inspections.
* Provide support with contractor control / monitoring.
Ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
