The Stores position is working for a manufacturer in Andover. The role is Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, with a 3:30pm finish on a Friday. The position is paying £12.83 per hour, rising to £13.21 per hour after probation.
The Stores Operative is responsible for the efficient handling, storage and movement of materials within a busy electronics manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the role ensures all goods are received, checked, stored and dispatched accurately, supporting production and maintaining high standards of stock control and organisation. Key duties include managing goods in and goods out processes, checking deliveries for accuracy or damage, and completing all associated documentation. You will maintain accurate inventory records, process stock movements on internal systems and support cycle counting and annual stock checks. The role also involves picking and delivering materials to production areas, kitting components for assembly (including SMT and box build), and handling materials in line with quality and clean room standards. You’ll be responsible for coordinating dispatch activities, including customer deliveries and supplier returns, as well as loading and unloading goods and occasionally operating a company vehicle for transport. Maintaining stock accuracy, adhering to procedures and supporting continuous improvement in safety and operational practices are key aspects of the role.

· Previous experience in stores or warehousing roles
· To have worked within production or manufacturing previously
· Excellent organisation and communication
· To be able to work in a physically demanding role
· To be able to commute to Andover
