📍 Location: Evesham
💷 Pay: £13.50 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–16:30 | Friday, 08:00–15:30
📅 Contract: 12-Week Fixed-Term Contract

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and practical Stores Operative to join a busy depot based in Evesham on a 12-week fixed-term contract.
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the stores and yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and checking materials and equipment, organising stock, maintaining accurate records, and helping to ensure the depot operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare cable and equipment for outgoing jobs and inspect returned items
Support the daily operation of the yard and stores
Organise cable, tools, equipment and stock
Book equipment in and out accurately
Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged equipment or missing items
Complete paperwork, checklists and delivery records accurately
Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment
Safely handle materials and associated equipment
Raise any operational issues with supervisors
Suggest practical improvements to working processes where appropriateRequirements
Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, depot, yard or similar environment would be advantageous
Comfortable carrying out practical and repetitive manual work
Good attention to detail
Basic numeracy skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
Reliable, organised and safety-conscious
Able to follow instructions and safe working procedures
Confident working independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills
Previous experience handling cable or electrical equipment would be beneficial but is not essential
A current Forklift Licence would be beneficial but is not essentialWhat’s on Offer

Regular daytime working hours
Fortnightly pay
Paid overtime may be available, subject to prior approval
Pro-rata paid holiday entitlement
