Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Stores Person to join Nottingham City Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  * Receive, inspect and accurately book in deliveries.

  * Store, issue and replenish stock in line with operational requirements.

  * Maintain accurate stock records using electronic stock control systems.

  * Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stock replenishment.

  * Prepare and issue materials, tools, PPE and equipment to operational teams.

  * Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.

  * Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

  * Support the smooth day-to-day running of the stores function.

Essential Requirements

  * Previous experience working in a stores, warehouse or stock control environment.

  * Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
