An established manufacturing and engineering business is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operator to join its Supply Chain team. This is a hands-on role focused on picking and packing, coordinating dispatch activities, maintaining an efficient stores area, and ensuring materials are available to support production and customer deliveries.

As a Stores Operator you can benefit from:

Salary of £30,000 - £32,000 plus an annual performance-based bonus, typically 5-10% of salary
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

The role of a Stores Operator will include:

Picking, packing and issuing materials to production
Organising daily dispatch activities and preparing shipments for UK and international customers
Booking goods in and out, maintaining accurate stock records and updating ERP systems
Keeping the stores area organised, ensuring stock accuracy and supporting inventory control activities
Verifying deliveries against purchase orders and investigating discrepancies
Supporting production requirements while ensuring compliance with quality and health & safety procedures
The ideal Stores Operator should have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics or inventory environment
Strong picking, packing and dispatch experience
Good attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach to stock control
Experience using ERP, warehouse management or inventory systems
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a busy operational environment
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
