Stores Operative
ReeVR Talent are looking for a self sufficient, enthusiastic and motivated Stores Operative to join our clients fast paced manufacturing facility.
Working within a collaborative team, to ensure the effective receipt, storage, issue, and control of materials, components, and finished goods.
As the Stores Operative you will be required to support production by maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring materials are available when required, and upholding safety and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities for the Stores Operative:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, raw materials, and components in line with company procedures.
Accurately book stock movements on the ERP/stock control system.
Pick and issue materials to production in accordance with work orders and schedules.
Ensure correct labelling, handling, and storage of stock to maintain product integrity and traceability.
Carry out regular stock counts and support cycle counting activities to maintain accuracy.
Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including packing, labelling, and completion of documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the stores and warehouse areas.
Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Liaise with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to support smooth workflow and resolve stock discrepancies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Experience required for the Stores Operative:
Proficient in the use of IT systems, with the ability to learn and operate stock control/ERP systems.
A valid forklift licence is advantageous; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is desirable.
Previous experience in stockroom and dispatch procedures, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
