Job Title: Stores Person

Stores Operative 

Location: Basingstoke

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am 5:30pm (38 hours per week)

Pay: £13.15 per hour / £26,000 per annum

Type: 3 month Contract (with potential opportunity to go permanent)

Start Date: Immediate

Our client TechPoint, is a well-established electronics manufacturer looking for a reliable and organised Stores operative to join our Stores team on a contract basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

As the new Stores operative, you'll play a vital role in managing stock and supporting production by ensuring all materials and components are where they need to be, when they need to be.

What you'll be doing as a Stores Operative at TechPoint :

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
Accurately storing and labelling stock
Picking and preparing materials for production
Maintaining an organised and tidy stores area
Using our ERP system to monitor and update stock levels
Packaging up completed products ready for shipment to our customers
Reporting shortages or stock issuesWhat were looking for in a Stores Operative at TechPoint:

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role
Confident using stock management systems (ERP experience preferred)
Ideally, experience working within a manufacturing environment
Good IT skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Good attention to detail
Able to commute to BasingstokeThis is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a Stores operative, who enjoys working in a hands-on role and is confident managing stock in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
