Job Description

8am – 4.30pm

Salary: £35,000

Location: Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports

This Stores Person role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording the traceability of all raw materials, fluids, equipment, spares, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), consumables, and client-supplied products on the site. The ideal Stores Person applicant should have experience working in a busy Parts Department

Stores Person responsibilities

  * Salary £35,000

  * Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items

  * Issue materials to the Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly

  * Purchase all critical parts from suppliers as and when required

  * Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations

  * Ensure parts are correctly added into SAP

  * Generate daily report showing the due dates of all critical parts orders

  * Check and receive deliveries to site using IT system

  * Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory as directed

  * Ensure stock items have correct identification labels attached

  * Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items
