Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Person for our client who are well-known engineering business in the Huddersfield area on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday with a salary of £28,000.00, excellent working conditions and ongoing training and progression opportunities.  
  
 Responsibilities of the Stores Person:
  
Dealing with goods inwards/outwards, stock control, and inventory management 
Conducting stock takes and working with stock control systems would be a distinct advantage. 
Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory or CMMS system. 
Issue parts and materials to engineers as required. 
Liaise with engineering teams, purchasing, and suppliers regarding parts availability. 
Support continuous improvement of stores processes and inventory control.   
 Experience of the Stores Person:
  
Experience of working in a fast-paced engineering stores environment 
Computer literate - use of n house systems 
In date FLT Licence (Counterbalance) 
Attention to detail and accuracy.   
 What is offer to the Stores Person:
  
Salary £28,000.00 pa 
Working days Monday to Friday 
Overtime available at excellent rates 
31 days holiday including bank holidays 
Death in service benefit 
Pension contribution
