Job Description

Stores Person
Pay: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour
Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pm
Manufacturing/Fabrication Company
Duties
  * Responsible for controlling the goods in and Out in a busy manufacturing facility.
  * Control and quality verification of goods to and from subcontractors and customers.
  * Acceptance and inventory control of raw materials and ancillary items.
  * Liaise with other team leaders and management daily to aid production flow and quality control.
  * Control of the issuing and completion of delivery and receipt documentation.
  * Movement of raw materials to the storage and manufacturing areas as required.
  * Daily Liaison with the company’s office administrators to verify output statistics and information.
  * Responsible for monthly raw material audits and information delivery to aid WIP flow.
  * Responsible for the housekeeping and Health & Safety of the company’s store’s area..
Requirements
  * Excellent communication skills: a high level of verbal and written English is required.
  * The ability to work to timescales and organise & prioritise the store's team responsibilities.
  * Plenty of drive, energy, and determination.
  * Ability to use own initiative.
  * Ability to work in a team environment.
  * Flexibility to help in other areas when required and a self-starter.
  * Experience in a Manufacturing background, ideally Engineering.
  * A current FLT licence would be distinctly advantageous.
  * Overtime work as and when required
