Stores Person

Location: Bedhampton, Hampshire
 Industry: Aerospace
 Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:00, Friday 06:30 - 11:30

Pay Rates

£14.18 per hour PAYE, or £16.24 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
Overtime paid at x1.5 after 37 hours 
Sundays paid at x2 

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is looking for a Stores Person to join their team in Bedhampton. This role is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, kitting and dispatch of materials that support the production of high-performance aerospace components used on civil and military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, kit and issue materials to production.
Receive and book goods into the ERP system.
Check deliveries against purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
Carry out cycle counts and support stock accuracy activities.
Store materials correctly and maintain inventory records.
Pack products and spare parts ready for dispatch.
Complete all documentation accurately to ensure traceability.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality and safety.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stores function.

About You

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of goods-in, inventory control and dispatch processes.
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
Experience using ERP systems would be advantageous.

Eligibility

Due to export control requirements, applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and be able to comply with ITAR regulations.
