Abatec is currently looking for a Stores Operative for our client based in Clevedon/Yatton area.
Location: Clevedon/Yatton Area, UK
Salary: Competitive + Overtime Opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About Us:
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to support warehouse and production operations in a busy, hands-on role, and detail oriented role.
As a Stores Operator, you will assist with the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods, working to company`s KPIs. You’ll be a vital link between the warehouse and production teams, ensuring smooth and efficient materials handling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving items.
* Ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Complete all relevant paperwork when receiving deliveries.
* Carry out general warehouse duties and manual handling tasks as required.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has previous experience in a store/warehouse environment (essential).

* Has a positive attitude and works well both independently and as part of a team.
