About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Store Person to join their team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with proven stock handling and warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, check, and store deliveries.
Manually unload goods from vehicles as required.
Deal with any discrepancies and input information onto computerised stock management system.
Contribute to the maintenance of the stores stock' in order to support the day-to-day operation of the company; assisting in the compilation of orders, for goods held in store with trades staff to ensure that their stock levels are realistic and workable.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Keep accurate stock records and update systems.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store/warehouse.
Complete regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
Work with other departments to ensure smooth supply of materials.
About You:
Previous experience in a stores, stock handling, or warehouse role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records.
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
A team player with good communication skills.
