Our client, a leading organisation, is currently seeking a Stores Person to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and controlling stock levels
Operating within the stores area to handle materials and stock items
Loading and strapping down flatbed lorries
Ensuring the accurate recording and management of inventory
Using forklifts to move materials safely
Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
Conducting regular stock checks and audits
Collaborating with other departments as necessary
Job Requirements:
Experience in stores/materials/stock control
Warehouse experience, including forklift operation
Ability to load and strap down flatbed lorries
Good attention to detail with competency in IT
Valid driving licence and own vehicle for site access
Ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
Strong organisational and communication skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
