Job Description

Stores / Stock Control Assistant A global medical equipment manufacturer now has an opportunity for an experienced Stores Person/Stock Controller to assist with the management and control of equipment and materials, supplied worldwide. Main Responsibilities Check materials, items and devices received against purchase orders, document the quantity and part numbers received on stock control system. Collate and check supplies to be shipped, update records and follow agreed process to book courier shipment. Use barcode scanner to electronically scan product to accurately account for product received and shipped. Move returned packages from goods-in to stores, account for items returned and prepare for stock as required. Conduct regular storeroom checks to ensure there are sufficient quantities of supplies and devices and that they are not expired. Move expired product from the storeroom to disposal area. Separate device packaging and parts into appropriate waste bins to ensure correct disposal routes for different materials. Creating packs of supplies/materials for the business, including creating packaging and labelling. Archiving documents as per company procedures. Check and ensure compliance with the company quality system, good manufacturing practice and regulatory requirements. Liaise, as and when required, with other Departments about supplies, documentation and archiving.
