Join a leading engineering manufacturing business as a Stores Team Leader, where you’ll be responsible for driving operational efficiency, leading a small team, and ensuring accurate, on-time material availability to support production. Key Responsibilities for the Stores Team Leader:
Ensure jobs are accurately picked and issued in the ERP system to meet production schedules.
Support service operations by enabling fast turnaround of faulty components.
Lead and motivate the stores team, ensuring all members are trained, productive, and ready for daily operations.
Maintain high standards in stock control, documentation, packaging, and materials handling.
Ensure compliance with 7S workplace organisation practices and Health & Safety policies.
Liaise with production, planning, purchasing, and service departments to resolve material flow issues quickly.
Continuously improve processes and documentation for training and efficiency.Salary & Benefits on offer:
Salary: £31,605 per annum
Bonus: Company performance bonus
Holidays: 25 days annual leave bank holidays, with up to 8 additional days based on length of service
Pension: 5% employee / 4–7% employer contributions via Legal & General, with salary sacrifice
Sick Pay: Up to 10 days full basic pay or 6 paid occasions per 12-month period
Life Assurance: 3x basic salary (post-probation)

Previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role within a manufacturing or engineering stores/warehouse environment
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., job picking, stock issuing, time booking)
Hands-on, organised, and confident leading by example
A clear communicator and problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
