Storesperson – Oxford (OX3)
Location: Oxford, OX3
Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 1:30pm (25 hrs/week)
£16.50 per hour
Valid Basic DBS required
Start Date: 3 November 2025
This is a part-time position (25 hours per week), with flexibility for up to 7 hours per day if preferred.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Storesperson to join our team on-site in Oxford (OX3).
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Lead Stores & Small Works Coordinator and the Performance & Compliance Manager with the day-to-day running of the Estates stores.
This includes ordering materials, managing stock and deliveries, handling invoices, PPE, and waste management.
Main Responsibilities
* Raise Purchase Orders (using Maximo IBM) and liaise with suppliers
* Carry out stock checks using the Rexel Smart Stores system
* Receive and safely store deliveries
* Check materials and coordinate invoices for payment
* Manage waste streams (WEEE, COSHH, recyclable, etc.)
* Support small works, admin duties, and respond to client queries
Desirable Experience
* Familiar with electronic stores systems
* Experience raising purchase orders and reconciling invoices
* Previous work in estates, facilities, or healthcare environments
* Manual handling and use of pallet trucks
Requirements
* Able to work independently and proactively
* Basic computer skills (Word & Excel)
* Physically fit for manual tasks
* Valid Basic DBS certificate
