Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (plus performance-related benefits)

The Job
As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving employer engagement across your region. Your focus will be on building strong partnerships with employers, securing job opportunities for learners, and contributing to ambitious business development goals.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Proactively identifying and engaging new employer partners through outreach, networking, and events.

Building strong relationships with decision-makers and understanding their recruitment needs.

Positioning pre-employment training programmes as the solution to workforce challenges.
*
Securing commitments from employers to provide interviews and job opportunities.
*
Maintaining long-term employer partnerships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and collaboration.

Consistently achieving and exceeding employer engagement and job outcome targets.
*
Staying ahead of labour market trends to maximise opportunities and growth.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious professional with a passion for employer engagement and business development. You’ll have:

Proven experience in B2B sales, employer engagement, or recruitment within the FE/Skills sector.
*
A strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
*
Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
*
Confidence in engaging stakeholders, including DWP and employers at all levels.
*
The ability to work independently, think strategically, and deliver results at pace.
*
A driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
Desirable: Experience within Further Education, Employability, or Skills training, alongside recognised sales or management qualifications.
