Strategic Partnerships Manager
Salary: £40,000 FTE
Hours: Flexible, full or part-time hours considered between 30–37.5 per week
Location: Remote, with travel to Birmingham & partner visits across the UK
We’re currently working with a fantastic Midlands based Charity looking to recruit an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will operate as a commercially minded relationship-builder who’s as comfortable talking budgets as they are listening to people’s stories. They will join a small, passionate team determined to make a big difference and play a pivotal role in securing and growing the partnerships that fund life-changing work.
About the role
This is a strategic position at the heart of key fundraising and partnership projects, key activities include:
* Develop and manage a portfolio of high-value relationships with corporate partners, charitable trusts, and grant-makers.
* Identify, pitch, and secure new opportunities, tailoring proposals to funders’ objectives.
* Nurture partners throughout the relationship lifecycle, from first conversation to impact reporting and renewal.
* Use data and insight to demonstrate results and shape continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with colleagues across service delivery, communications, and leadership to bring partnerships to life.
About you
This Strategic Partnerships Manager role requires a strategic thinker with a creative spark, grounded in strong commercial skills and a genuine commitment to our cause.
You’ll likely have:
* Proven success in partnerships, business development, or fundraising - ideally in the charity sector.
* Confidence in delivering pitches, writing compelling proposals, and reporting impact.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to link partnership activity to financial performance.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire both funders and colleagues.
* The self-motivation to work independently and juggle multiple priorities, while being a supportive team player.
* Adaptability and flexibility – able to comfortable work with changes in sector and funding and make visits to partners across the UK
