Our client is seeking an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to join their HR/People function. This is a highly analytical, insight-driven role requiring expertise in workforce planning, data analysis, and HR management information. The role will involve translating complex HR data into actionable insights and presenting findings to a range of stakeholders, including Board-level audiences.
The ideal candidate will be confident working with large datasets, developing dashboards and automated reporting solutions, and supporting workforce planning processes that align with organisational strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Provide support to understand future workforce requirements, identify trends, and forecast capability gaps.
*
Analyse large, complex HR datasets and develop actionable insights for stakeholders.
*
Identify opportunities to improve workforce planning processes and implement enhancements.
*
Support the business support office with contractor procurement and assist business functions with recruitment.
*
Produce management information (MI) on staffing levels versus demand and support creation of capacity and capability plans.
*
Integrate new workforce planning processes and tools into business-as-usual operations.
*
Resolve staffing issues across projects and initiatives, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on portfolio demand activities.
*
Present HR and workforce insights clearly to non-analytical audiences, including senior management.
*
Advise and influence stakeholders using data-driven insights.
*
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
*
Identify workforce risks and recommend practical solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in Strategic Workforce Planning.
*
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, automation).
*
Power BI dashboard creation and automated reporting experience.
*
Broad understanding of HR Management Information (MI) and data presentation.
*
Ability to translate complex technical data into clear insights for multiple audiences.
*
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in an HR team environment.
