Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving impactful change in the energy sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic Strategy Business Partner to join their innovative team! This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of electricity transmission and distribution networks across Great Britain.
As the Strategy Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing a comprehensive framework for whole system management. Your expertise will ensure compliance with license obligations while promoting the coordinated development of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Communication: Craft and refine executive-level presentations and briefing packs that convey clear corporate messaging. Distribute timely agendas and pre-reading materials to facilitate productive meetings.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with senior management, showcasing your confidence and credibility.
Meeting Coordination: Capture concise records of discussions, key decisions, and risks from executive meetings, ensuring actions are tracked efficiently.
Whole System Coordination: Maintain and publish the obligatory Whole System coordination register. Engage proactively with stakeholders, customers, regulators, and governmental bodies to advance whole system outcomes.
Collaboration: Coordinate with transmission licensees and electricity distributors to identify actions that enhance the economical operation of the entire system.
Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and publish the annual coordination register, demonstrating compliance with whole system license obligations to regulatory authorities.
Executive Reporting: Manage engagement with the Executive Team to ensure alignment with external obligations and group strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discussions with regulators and relevant parties to ensure alignment on whole system issues across the organization.
What We're Looking For:
A strategic or project management background with experience in stakeholder management.
Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with senior leadership.
Exceptional slide writing and presentation capabilities.
The ability to foster relationships and influence others at all organizational levels.
Experience in managing and motivating virtual teams to achieve business objectives.
