Job Title: Street Cleanser
Location: Atherstone
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – Finish
Pay Rate: £12.85 per hour
Job Role:
We are looking for a diligent and reliable Street Cleanser to join a local team responsible for maintaining clean and safe public spaces in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Remove litter, detritus, and waste materials from roads, footpaths, grassed areas, parks, and other public spaces to maintain cleanliness and safety
*
Empty and maintain litter bins and dog waste bins throughout the designated areas
*
Safely collect and dispose of hazardous waste such as needles and other potentially dangerous materials in line with health and safety regulations
*
Operate a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to aid in cleansing tasks
*
Drive vehicles as required, in accordance with a valid standard driving licence
*
Engage courteously and professionally with the public, responding to enquiries and concerns promptly and respectfully
*
Ensure all job-related paperwork and reports are completed accurately and submitted on time
*
Work efficiently as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently where necessary
*
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the public
