Job Description

kolt recruitment are looking for a strip fitter for a busy and growing accident repair centre within a well-established dealership in Southampton. this is a great opportunity for an experienced strip fitter to join a professional bodyshop environment, working on a variety of vehicles and supporting the repair process from start to finish.
key responsibilities:

  * stripping and refitting damaged vehicle components

  * removing mechanical, electrical and trim parts prior to repair

  * refitting panels and components to manufacturer standards

  * identifying additional damage and reporting findings

  * working closely with panel and paint teams to ensure smooth workflow

  * maintaining a clean and safe working environment

requirements:

  * previous experience as a strip fitter / dismantler within a bodyshop

  * strong knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes

  * ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality

  * good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  * full uk driving licence preferred
