The Role
Lead and deliver structural design work on refurbishment and alteration projects, often within occupied or historic buildings.
Carry out site inspections, structural assessments, and produce detailed design calculations and drawings.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients to develop creative, buildable solutions.
Contribute to the mentoring of junior engineers and help shape our evolving design approach.
About You
Has over 3 years in structural design, ideally with a focus on refurbishment or work within existing structures.
Holds (or is working towards) Chartered Engineer (CEng or IStructE/ICE) status.
Is confident designing in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
Enjoys problem-solving and thinking creatively about how to make old buildings work for new uses.
Values teamwork, open communication, and a positive working environment.
