Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and cost-effective structural designs.
Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures and assess their stability and integrity.
Perform detailed calculations and analyses to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and construction drawings.
Assist in project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
Stay up to date with industry advancements and utilise cutting-edge software and technology to enhance design processes.
Support the professional development of junior engineers through mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Proven experience (3+ years) in structural engineering, preferably within the construction or consulting industry.
Proficient in using relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Tekla Tedds etc
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, including Eurocodes and British Standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
