Job Description
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a well-established structural engineering consultancy in Oxford.
The successful structural engineer will have the opportunity to work on a range of bespoke residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and listed buildings. The role offers the chance to be involved in technically interesting work with a close-knit and supportive team.
Key responsibilities include
Structural design in timber, steel, concrete, and masonry
Preparing calculations and technical drawings
Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients
Attending design meetings and site visits as needed
Supporting project delivery from concept to completion
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
2+ years' experience in building structures (residential experience is beneficial)
Comfortable using structural design software
Good communication and organisational skills
Keen to work in a collaborative and detail-driven environment
