Salary: £28,892 - £31,242 per annum
Location: Chatham area
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Student Support & SEND Lead to champion inclusive education and ensure every learner receives the guidance, care, and support they need to achieve their potential.

Role Responsibilities

* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead within the centre, promoting a culture of safety and vigilance.
* Lead on EHCP reviews, ensuring tailored and effective SEND support for all learners.
* Collaborate with Programme Leaders, Local Authorities, families, and external professionals to coordinate student support.
* Line manage Learning Support Assistants, fostering a nurturing and inclusive team culture.
* Develop and implement strategies that empower students to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience working within safeguarding, SEND, or pastoral support roles in an educational setting.
* A strong understanding of EHCP processes and multi-agency collaboration.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and external partners.
* Experience leading or supporting staff within a student-facing environment.
* Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and the belief that education transforms lives.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
