Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major heavy civils project in Newcastle. This is a long-term opportunity supporting complex structural, earthworks and reinforced concrete operations on a high-value scheme.
Key Responsibilities
*
Assist the Site Agent and Project Manager with daily delivery of site activities.
*
Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, plant and materials to meet programme milestones.
*
Lead setting-out verification, quality checks and ITP management.
*
Oversee H&S compliance, ensuring RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are followed.
*
Manage reporting, site records, and progress updates.
*
Resolve technical queries and support delivery of temporary works.
*
Maintain strong communication with client reps, design teams and internal departments.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Site Engineer on heavy civils projects (earthworks, structures, RC, highways, or major infrastructure).
*
Strong technical background with excellent understanding of QA processes.
*
CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid (or equivalent).
*
Ability to lead teams, problem-solve and drive productivity.
*
Confident managing technical documentation and site compliance.
