Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of multiple highways schemes on a long-term framework in the Huntingdon area. This freelance role is available for an initial period of 6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day site operations across multiple active schemes.
·Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
·Liaise with the Framework Delivery Manager, Site Agents, and Engineers to ensure efficient execution of works.
·Manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and address site issues proactively.
·Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
·Maintain accurate site records, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
·Support in resource planning and short-term programming of works.
Requirements:
·Proven experience working as a Sub Agent or in a similar role within highways or civil engineering projects.
·Strong organisational and communication skills.
·Familiarity with NEC contracts and framework working practices.
·SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (essential).
·Full UK driving licence.
