Job Description
I'm working with a leading civil engineering contractor who are delivering a major highways infrastructure project, and they're looking to bring on board an experienced Sub Agent for a long-term freelance contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in earthworks and drainage to step into a key delivery role on a high-profile project.
Role Overview:
As a Sub Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring the technical delivery of your assigned section of works aligns with design specifications, safety standards, deadlines, and quality expectations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
·Leading and managing site engineers, section engineers, and supervisors
·Overseeing QA processes and daily site monitoring
·Ensuring works are completed to spec and managing sub-contractors on site
·Accurately recording labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources
Who We're Looking For:
·HNC, Degree, or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering or related field
·Demonstrated experience in a Sub Agent role, with earthworks and drainage experience on highways projects
·Strong team leadership and coordination skills
·Valid SMSTS, CSCS and/or CPCS Card
