Job Description
Contract Scotland is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major marine infrastructure project in Shetland. This is an immediate requirement running through to the end of the year, with a strong possibility of a longer-term contract or permanent opportunity thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to manage work packages
Support the Site Agent and Project Manager with reporting and planning
Uphold quality, health & safety, and environmental standards at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sub Agent or experienced Site Engineer ready to step up
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Marine or coastal works experience highly advantageous
CSCS card and right to work in the UK
Flexibility to work on a 12:2 rotation
Site hours are to be confirmed, but this role will suit someone comfortable working in remote environments and committed to the delivery of a high-profile project.
