Subject Specialist Teacher – Secondary Schools Middlesbrough Full-time, Part-time & Long-term roles available Got a subject you love teaching? We’re working with a number of secondary schools across Middlesbrough looking for subject specialist teachers to step into the classroom and make an impact where it matters most. Whether your thing is Maths, English, Science or beyond, we’ll match you with schools that value your expertise. What you’ll be doing: Teaching your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4 Delivering engaging lessons that get students thinking, not just copying Building strong relationships that keep classrooms running smoothly Bringing your subject to life, even on a rainy Tuesday afternoon What we’re looking for: Experience teaching your subject in a secondary setting (KS3/KS4 essential) QTS is highly desirable, but we’re open to strong unqualified teachers with solid experience Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to apply for one Why you’ll want this: Flexible roles to fit around you, from a few days a week to full-time placements Long-term opportunities where you can really settle in Schools that appreciate subject specialists and give you room to teach your way If you’re not already Thrive trained, it’s well worth it. More and more schools are looking for teachers who can support students beyond academics, and we offer this training for free.
