Job Description
Substance Misuse Nurse – Ellesmere Port & Chester
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join a dedicated team supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol use.
Location: Ellesmere Port & Chester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Contract Length: 3 months
Pay Rate: £29/hour (Ltd)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical interventions in community-based hubs.
Improve healthcare access for service users, including BBV testing/treatment, healthcare assessments, ambulatory detox, and clinical observations.
Provide and supervise high standards of nursing care in line with evidence-based practice and Via policies.
Carry out general healthcare activities such as wound care, ECGs, and similar procedures.
Undertake basic life support and anaphylaxis training to confidently manage medical emergencies, including administering emergency drugs.
Support individuals in their recovery journey, promoting health and well-being.Requirements:
Relevant nursing qualification and registration.
Experience in substance misuse or related field preferred.
